Comparing German — Goethe classes in Nepal comes down to two questions almost nobody answers publicly: what the course costs, and how far you are from an official test venue. We collect both. The Goethe-Zentrum in Kathmandu is the only official German exam centre in and for Nepal, so every A1 to B2 certification in the country runs through a single venue.

We would rather show you nothing than show you something we have not checked — roughly 900 of about 5,000 consultancies in Kathmandu Valley hold a permit, and telling those apart is the whole point of this directory.

Most courses run a few weeks to a couple of months. The bigger scheduling risk is the test date rather than the course: official venues fill up and results take time to issue, so book the test before you finish the course.
