Comparing education consultancies in Kathmandu starts with one question that decides most of the outcome: is the firm licensed at all. Kathmandu Valley holds roughly 5,000 education consultancies, and the Department of Commerce found that only about 900 of them hold a Ministry of Education permit. That ratio is the single most useful fact a Kathmandu student can carry into a first meeting. The listings below give you the name, address, phone number and destinations for each consultancy we have found here, with the source named on every card. Licence status is the one thing we have not checked yet, and we say so on each listing rather than implying an approval we have not verified.

We have not yet checked these firms against the Ministry of Education licence register, so no listing here should be read as verified or endorsed.
